    Boost Energy Workout:

    Hi everyone;

I just got done doing this workout and let me tell you it has boosted my energy and changed my mood.

This is a great exercise if you are a beginner or only have 20 minutes to workout. Not only is this an easy workout if you’re new to exercise, but it’s also nice because it doesn’t take a long time. If you are an advanced exerciser or have more time, you can always make the workout harder or do the exercise for a longer duration.

    Mom’s Carrot Salad

In Loving Memory of My Mom: Her 93rd Birthday Carrot Salad and a Lesson in Wholesome Eating

This May, as I reflect on what would have been my wonderful mom’s 93rd birthday, my mind drifts back to the simple joys of my childhood kitchen. Beyond the delicious meals, I also cherish the invaluable lessons she taught me about whole foods and the beauty of eating cleanly. She intuitively understood that true nourishment originated from natural, unprocessed ingredients, shaping my own approach to food from a young age.

One of my favorite memories involves watching her create her famous carrot salad. It became a staple in our home, a dish that always brought a smile to everyone’s face, embodying her belief that healthy food could be absolutely delicious. Her recipe remained uncomplicated, yet incredibly flavorful – a testament to her knack for crafting deliciousness from everyday ingredients, always prioritizing their natural goodness. Every time I prepare this salad, I transport myself back to those carefree days, surrounded by her love and the comforting aromas of her cooking, infused with her commitment to wholesome living.

This recipe offers a tribute to her life, her love, and the countless happy moments we shared, along with the foundational lessons she instilled in me. I’m honored to share it with you, and I hope it delivers a little bit of her warmth and wisdom to your home. Enjoy!

“How I Start My Day: Coffee, Devotion & Deeper Bible Study”

My mornings start with a prayer placing the Armor of GOD upon my husband, myself, our friends and our neighbors, then I pour a cup of coffee and read a devotional from the “today in the word” app. This helps me set the tone for my day. Then I go through my emails and possibly check social media. After that, I pour another cup of coffee, then head to the office, where I turn on the TV to YouTube to watch Donna Reidland’s videos for “Bible in a Year.”

Today in the word is a great devotional app. If you only have a short amount of time to spend before your busy day starts, this is a good place. They start with a devotion, Go Deeper segment, then a prayer and finally the scripture reading.

Donna does a very good job. She explains certain key points in the Bible which is very helpful for me.

For me, this daily routine makes me feel closer to our creator and a sense of well being.

What are some of your daily routines? Do you have any favorite devotional apps? If not and you are looking to get closer to GOD then feel free to check out the links below.

I would love to hear back from you on what your thoughts are and your daily routines.

This Weeks Devotion Is Reflecting On Romans 8

“In a world often marked by anxiety and fleeting pleasures, Romans 8 offers an anchor of unwavering love and security rooted in the Spirit. Verse 6 beautifully illustrates this: ‘For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.’ This profound truth reveals that true security and a vibrant life flow not from earthly pursuits, but from aligning our thoughts and affections with the Spirit of God’s love. Delve into these powerful words and find the deep-seated peace and genuine life that comes from a mind surrendered to Him.”

“I find Romans 8:28-30 to be my favorite passage in this book.”

“As I reflect on the profound words of Romans 8:28-30, a deep sense of hope and encouragement washes over me: ‘And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose… For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son… And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.’ This reminds me that even in the midst of life’s complexities, I am loved, purposed, and held within a plan that leads to glory.

The GREATEST gift of all is in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Because of this nothing can separate us from the Love of GOD”

“Romans 8 is a truly wonderful chapter to read and meditate on. In its powerful words, we discover the profound truth that we are unconditionally loved by our Creator. This understanding, at its core, is a bedrock of hope in Christ, assuring us of His unwavering presence and care.”

    Philippians 1:6

This powerful verse reminds us that the good work God has started in us is not something we have to strive to finish on our own strength. Instead, we can take heart in the assurance that God, who initiated this work, will faithfully see it through to completion when Christ returns. This gives us hope and perseverance, knowing that God’s commitment to our growth and transformation is steadfast and will ultimately prevail

    GUT HEALTH:

Gut health is one of those things that we may not consider on a daily basis because it often stays quiet and works behind the scenes, but when things go wrong, we pay the price.

Several months ago I was scrolling through YouTube and came across a physician talking about Fermented Dairy ( “yogurt”) and how it can heal SIBO ( small intestinal bacteria overgrowth) the physicians name was Dr. William Davis author of ” Super Gut”, I found him very interesting and purchased his book, which is a great book by the way to read if you are experiencing any health issues, even if you are not this is a great way to help your gut stay healthy. Since then I have been making this yogurt and eating almost everyday. This yogurt healed my stomach issues that I had for quite some time. I am very grateful to GOD for guiding me to this healing.

You will find the recipe under recipes in the header of my website.

If you would like to learn more about this subject, please refer to the Super Gut book or visit Dr. Davis’ website for additional information @ https://drdavisinfinitehealth.com. I bought this book on Amazon.

3 John 1:2: “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”

Reading Labels and Going Preservative Free :

Today I am going to talk about reading labels and to know what you are eating.

I once was that person that saw something that I liked and picked it up at the grocery store, bought it, took it home and prepared it and ate it. Not knowing what I ate just knew it tasted good. I know there are many people out there that do the same thing.

After reading several books and all of them saying the same thing ” Read the labels ” I started to and was surprised.  Half of the words I couldn’t pronounce or didn’t even know what they were putting in our foods. The more labels I read the more upset I’ve become. This stuff couldn’t be making me feel good?  So I stopped buying foods that had preservatives, additives, artificial coloring, and seed oils. I felt better physically and mentally because I took the step to better health.

I think it is important to point out that we only have one body , which is the temple of the Holy Spirit and to love GOD enough to want to do something good for it. That’s what I did and I’m happy I did. It’s not a hard change to do. Just educate yourself on label reading and look up items in your favorite foods and see what they are. If it’s not a good choice  for your body then put it back and find one that is. It takes time to read labels but, After a while you will know what ones have the preservatives and such and it won’t take you so long to shop. Happy shopping!

Here is a book that might help you on your journey . Here is another book from Kevin Reese.
