This powerful verse reminds us that the good work God has started in us is not something we have to strive to finish on our own strength. Instead, we can take heart in the assurance that God, who initiated this work, will faithfully see it through to completion when Christ returns. This gives us hope and perseverance, knowing that God’s commitment to our growth and transformation is steadfast and will ultimately prevail
